About Allen Fitzsimmons
Transitioning Forward Founder and CEO
A Massachusetts resident, Allen Fitzsimmons studied economics and political science at the University of Rochester in New York. Completing his final year on a music theory scholarship, he received a bachelor of arts. Allen Fitzsimmons later completed the master’s program at Simon Business School. He made the dean’s list each semester and graduated with a master of science in management and as valedictorian.
Most of his early career was dedicated to athletics, serving as a physical education faculty member, among other positions, at various institutions. In 2013, Allen Fitzsimmons pursed entrepreneurial endeavors with the launch of Transitioning Forward. As chief executive officer and working primarily with law firms and realtors, he offers inventory and appraisal services for clients looking to downsize or relocate. His company also provides marketing and shipping services to assist customers in selling their belongings.
In his free time, Mr. Fitzsimmons enjoys staying active by bicycling and hiking.
